FIT FOR RELEASE: GIVING INMATES A SECOND CHANCE

With the prison system at breaking point, a new wave of smart fitness programmes is transforming jail culture and providing inmates with skills they can use on the outside.

For this project, I spent a day inside HMP Brixton, speaking with inmates, as well as interviewing research psychologists and government officials. The images were shot in HMP Wandsworth. This was one of the most interesting weeks of my life (so far).
